The clear choice would have been “Robbers” creating a package that would have kept him here for many years. Can only assume Robbers has too much money tied up on their busload of “Hockey Experts”

Three man booth with Jonah Keri and McCown. I’d like to see them give Hayhurst a try.
Every time I see “Robbers”, I puke a little in my mouth.
So sophomoric.

Hayhurst would be a good fit, but Ashby was a play by play /colour, and Hayhurst would only analyze. Both Wilner, as the good company soldier and Hayhurst should fill the void

No amount of money would have kept Ashby in Toronto. He lives in Houston, why would he also not want to work there, especially at his age?
Yes, saying ‘Robbers’ is the worst. Right up there with saying ‘Fib-erals’.
I think it’ll be Jerry, with Dirk as the colour guy, and Wilner doing a couple innings of PBP a game in addition to post game.
