It was nice to see Glenn Healy counter Bob about the real reason George Gillett would come all the way to Markham to talk about a stadium he has nothing to do with. No, it wouldn’t be self-interest, only to help the real estate folks make the right decision. I don’t think Rudy Bratty needs Gillett’s help. He seems to have done pretty well without it so far.

Also, when Gillett was on with Bob, his answer to Cox’s question about his interest in owning another NHL team was: “I have absolutely no interest…………… this time.” Which means any other time after he made that statement he could change his mind without contradicting himself.
