Toronto Raptors Poll

Well, so far in my early reviews of the media out there we have:

Bruce Arthur, Michael Grange and Jeff Blair leading the it’s time for Bryan Colangelo to go camp

On the other side we have Greg Brady and Doug Smith in the give him another shot camp.

What say you?

At this point not firing Colangelo is a big “FU” to Toronto fans on behalf of management. He’s been here since 2006 and look where we are, no GM gets that long a tenure with no results. MLSE needs to send the right message to Toronto fans, show that they’re serious about winning, and that mediocrity is not tolerable. With Colangelo at the helm mediocrity is all we’ve gotten. It’s time to go.

FIRE BC!!!!!!!!! people are enamored with what they think he can do, rather than what he actually does do on a consistent basis, which is lose, sign bad free agents and fire coaches.

Justorbs, mediocrity would have been a step up during the Colangelo era, having missed the playoffs five years straight and not even played above 500 basketball since his first year here 7 years ago.

BC is a good corporate boy, and knows how to manage up to the MLSE board, as well as spin to the media/fans, so I expect him to carry on.

Pathetic how Colangelo has thrown so many coaches under the bus over the years and is an expert at deflecting, blaming coaches, players, agents, fans, the media, the beer vendor, and anybody else he can rather than fall on his sword, which he should have done right after the Bosh fiasco.

Thank you for Jonas, we appreciate that, but get the hell out of here and wreck another franchise with your impulsive moves and not being able to correctly read the tea leaves. The amount of moves you have to do to correct your screw-ups is unreal, and how you have managed to survive all these years is a testament to your ability to kiss ass, which you sir, are second to none.

The problem with how Colangelo operates is that he makes so many changes to the team year by year, that you can ALWAYS make the “wait and see, you have to let this team play out and then he’ll eat it if it fails, you can’t change midstream” approach (which is the Eric Smith/Doug Smith argument) because there’s always different major pieces being added and subtracted.

Amazing how Colangelo at his year of end presser sees the tea leaves, and knows that his best chances of being re-upped is to form an alliance with Casey. The man is such a master manipulator, he should deserves to be on Game of Thrones, where his skill-sets would be put to their best use.

I still don’t get TSM why there is no edit function once you post to do a quick fix.
