A different take on the NFL tax exempt status that Bob was talking about with
    Patrick Hruby.

here’s a question since ESPN owns a percentage of TSN and I’m sure they own the trademarks to 360 can they not try and stop Rogers from rebranding the network as Sportsnet 360

Whenever I hear Blair rant about how “everybody cheats”, I wonder if he thinks journalists who plagiarize are okay. The same argument can be made that he uses “as a paying customer I don’t care if a journalist plagiarizes or not as long as I get a good article”.

360 is so generic it would be hard to get a one time use on it

I doubt rogers would pick a name without doing due dilligence, esp vis a vis ESPN product with a similar name.

Rogers picked a name without doing much due dilligence a couple of years ago when they re-named the 590 noon hockey show “Centre Ice”…………..they had to change the name back to “Hockey Central at Noon” a few weeks later

Agreed, Ami. Sometimes I wonder if Blair really hears himself. He’s basically saying that immoral behavior is okay because everybody is immoral. Really, Blair? That is quite an assumption. I wonder what his wife and kids think about that. They must be so proud.

@Curt: I remember Blair said that the reason he didn’t vote for Gary Carter was that Carter accused him of misquoting him. Blair ranted about how misquoting was such a bad thing to say somebody did, and how offended he was, but why should he be? I thought he didn’t care about immoral behaviour. In fact, he should misquote people if he can get away with it as long as it advances his career and gives readers an entertaining story right?
