Here’s a thought why is it ESPN diden’t stop
Onrait and O’Toole from going to FOX1 since ESPN owns a percentage of TSN could not have just hired them since im sure they were on contract already instead of letting them walk to the competion.

Maybe ESPN did try to retain them. Maybe they’ve had offers from ESPN before and weren’t interested. More likely it had to do with them moving to LA and getting in on the ground floor with a new sports network where they’d be big shots.

I turned on PTS one time in the last few days when McCown was in the middle of an interview talking about the new Fox Sports 1 channel. Did anyone hear it from the beginning, and did they say if they know yet if the channel will remain available in Canada after the name and programming format change? You would think McCown should be able find out from his corporate overlords at Rogers.

…or maybe ESPN didn’t like their schtick, for their own audience base down there.

Bob said he “thought” Canada would have FOXSPORTS 1 available, it was something to do with Rogers having a relationship with Fox now.
