Sid did his stupid baby voice first at 5:01.

Shannon has not been the most aggravating erson on the roundtable tonight..

This is about the worst combination of the available people for a roundtable you could get with Bob as host.

Shannon brings out the worst in Seixeiro. I don’t know why, but around Shannon, Seixeiro acts even more over the top, like he’s trying to impress him. Shannon seems to encourage this with his really horrid jokes and trying to be cool with the “BAM HASHTAG BAM” thing. And Friedman is… incredibly aggravating for me to listen to when he’s in an argument because he takes so long to make his point, he seems to have trouble understanding other people’s points, and he can be pretty mean. And Friedman and Sexiero together just leads to stuff like the beginning of the show where Sid is doing his schtick and making jokes about Friedman and Friedman retorts with these insults back at Sid that sounded more mean than funny, and I really didn’t want to listen to more. -_-

I haven’t listened much this month but when I did the other day Bob was really going off on Tim Leiweke. I don’t know if it was contrived or real. I find it hard to believe Bob cares about old Leaf photos being taken down so did something else happen between his favourable interview with Leiweke the day he became CEO and now?

Liewicke as “ugly aMerican” seems to bobs new chew toy.

I can believe it might upset Bob since he was a kid during that era, and he might take it personally that his memories are being dismissed as being irrelevant by the new guy who doesn’t understand what they mean to people who grew up with them.

I also love the juxtaposition of bob hating on something for being “a know it all American who comes to Canada and talks down to everyone.”

as a kid listening to PTS i remember Bob proudly telling callers he didn’t watch the Leafs (or hockey) or have any idea about the defense pairings and such matters. He only started caring about hockey when Naylor wrote a book about it.

Bob is as much an expert on hockey as Sexeiro is an expert on portion control. BAM HASHTAG FAT BAM.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
