Naylor is going on vacation for the next three weeks. He said he’ll be back on Labour Day.

In general I think 1050 has a better weeknight show than 590, mainly because of Tatti…………..however some of the co-hosts they have had this summer (Troy Crowder, Warren Sawkiw, Andy McNamara) have been terrible…………is it really that hard to find decent co-hosts to fill in when people are on vacation?

Having gord kirke on PTS is just a kick in the face to the listening public. I imagine the advertisers got bleeding noses from the sound of mass people switching stations at the same time.

Don Landry or Bill Hayes or Steve Kouleas or even Mark Hebscher are all around. I’m sure they could come in to do spot work fill in with Jim Tatti or Mike Hogan.

Since TSN 1050 debuted they have always had a strong suit in the evening slot compared with Sportsnet 590 The Fan.

Lol, I’d definitely tune into Tatti – Hebscher. I heard an interview with Hebscher a year or two ago and he HATES Tatti from their time at Sportsline. Wouldn’t even say his name. Yes, guy!

Does anyone know the story behind the Tatti-Simmons blowup when they co-hosted the mid-morning timeslot on the Fan about 20 years ago? I remember hearing a replay of Tatti storming out of the studio on Jim Richards’ weekly highlight show, but I never knew the basis for that dispute. To my recollection, Tatti and Simmons never worked together on the Fan after that day.
