In the car on the weekend and heard promo for that dreadful sports betting show Sunday mornings on fan/590.
If you need a good laugh and enjoy grade 7 radio where the hosts constantly talk over each other, cough directly into the mike and run out of time on every single segment they do ,then listen.
If not, avoid fan/590 Sunday mornings from now till after the Super Bowl.

It sounds like Sam & Ted are filling in for McCown on PTS this week………….hopefully they won’t be asking Rob Becker or Ken Rosenthal for Match Game suggestions

I almost never hear them because I’m not awake or doing something else on the rare occasions I’m up, but I know the early weekend mornings on these all-sports stations often make the weekdays sound great by comparison. The thing supposedly about huntin’ and fishin’ with the Ted Nugent wannabe constantly bashing them big-city liberals, would make me change the station immediately. This weekend on 1050 I heard some of their sort-of motorsports show that has no structure, and it’s no wonder it’s relegated to 5 or 6 am or whatever time it started. It’s Norris McDonald, whose conversation aimlessly wanders and goes into stories from 60 years ago (something like Jim Hunt did with McCown), usually babbling for the whole hour with a host whose name I don’t know, but he sounds scatter-brained and makes pointless interjections just to interrupt McDonald or sometimes another guest when there is one. Even as a motorsports fan, I find it difficult to listen to — so I almost never do.
