Is Macko (of Macko and Cauz) now purposefully trying to make himself sound like Jeff Blair? I don’t listen every day, and not for long when I do, but now at least four times in the last two days over the less than half hour total I’ve listened, I’ve heard him come to a complete stop in the middle of a sentence, let out an exasperated sounding exhale, then start talking again. And it’s no less annoying than when Blair does it.
I was listening the other day when he started choking and had to leave the room because of something wrong with his voice. Could be a medical issue.
I’m actually enjoying Ben Ennis and Jeff Sammut filling in for Tim and Sid. I like their banter, and it’s nice not to hear lots of over the top schtick. They can get off topic a lot though, like when they spent 20 minutes talking about 80s sitcoms.

You expect a three hour show to discuss sports for the whole three hours? In summer? That’s crazy talk.
I didn’t complain that they went off topic. I just said they can. Some people might not like it, that’s why I mentioned it. They’re the closest to my age bracket of anybody on the FAN, and I was fine with them talking about TV I actually recognize.
Normally I agree with Ami but not this time……………I have found Ennis & Sammut to be extremely hard to listen to this week
A lot of people have posted on this site that they think Sammut is much improved recently but I just don’t see it………………….however I’m in my mid 40’s so maybe I’m too old to appreciate his style
