Sid is doing a great job on PTS. Like Brett Lawrie, he’s growing up before our eyes. Fewer sophomoric antics than when he’s paired with Tim and with a more detailed knowledge over a range of sports than Bob or the other guest hosts. Could take over from Bob one day, or compete against him…….

I hope Sportsnet sends former Footy Show host, Sid to Brazil to cover the World Cup instead of you know who. If they don’t maybe TSN can promise to send him to Euro 2016 and the 2018/2022 World Cups, for which they have the rights, as part of a contract to lure him away from Rogers.

When we now have James Lawton, Henry Winter, et al a few clicks away, it’s an embarrassment for Sportsnet to keep shoving Brunt down our throats at World Cups, as if he knows what he’s talking about.

Along with taking over TSN Drive, Sid would make an excellent addition to Wilman/KJ/DeVos at Euro/World Cup time.
Here the trio hit their stride:
-KJ at Old Trafford, illegally. The Champions League. And for the umpteenth time it’s “Nor-itch”.
“Who’d know, watching television in North America.”

I have not even bothered w Sid this week. I presumed it would be a week of “hashtag bam” and baby voices.

Also, i realized last week how great it has been without shannon.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
