While it was announced that Tom Anselmi has resigned as COO of MLSE, I’m a tad skeptical it wasn’t more of the Trump treatment. Here’s your drive home lineups:
On Sportsnet 590 The FAN from 4-7pm, Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown:
400 – 500 – Phones
500 – 700 – Roundtable with McCown, Stephen Brunt, Ken Reid, and Dave Perkins
On TSN Radio 1050 from 4-7pm, TSN Drive with Dave Naylor. co-hosts:
TBD
On TSN (5pm) & TSN2 (6:30pm), Off the Record with Michael Landsberg:
Best of Off the Record
Today on Sportsline:
TBD
On the TSN FC podcast there was a very good discussion on the Toronto FC mess with Devos, KJ and Wileman. Devos was especially good with very specific criticisms of Kevin Payne and others.

Also a good listen is Bob’s interview with Richard Peddie on the Thursday 6pm PTS. Looking forward to Peddie’s book coming out on Oct. 22.
Finally, a very interesting Naylor interview, about football injuries and insurance, with Gregg Easterbrook of the New Republic and Tuesday Morning Quarterback on Hour 3 of Friday’s TSN Drive. Apparently some high school football programs had their players sign waivers and still lost cases in court. I wonder if Easterbrook has been discussing this with his brother, Frank Easterbrook, the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Very interesting.
Mesut Ozil’s first Arsenal match next Saturday at 10AM on TSN.

“…… colleges can’t exploit because they’re not for-profit business enterprises, and that NCAA sports in the aggregate cannot be exploitative because schools use the economic surplus generated by men’s basketball and football to subsidize other sports programs that exist as part of the school’s nonprofit mission.”

I think Brady is supporting this. Not sure who else locally.

After listening to Jason De Vos on Toronto FC, I think only a mastermind can turn the team around:

Sir Alex Ferguson’s autobiography comes out Oct. 24. Will TSN or Sportsnet get an interview?
