I don’t know how the PTS roundtable could have a 10 minute discussion about Bud Selig’s legacy and not talk about the fact that he was commissioner when the 1994 World Series was scrapped………………….if you are going to give Selig credit (rightfully so) for having almost 20 years of labour peace you also have to give him a ton of blame for what happened in 1994………………..not having a season (like the NHL did in 2004-05) is embarrassing…………..but in my opinion starting a season and not finishing it is even worse

I thought Perkins mentioned it when he was talking about the Expos. Maybei extrapolated it.

6 people fired from as Steve “They’re Alive!” Maich now in charge of the magazine and the website:

Jim Lang’s twitter account doesn’t list him as a football writer for any more. Is he planning to announce a new job?

Strange that didn’t do a comprehensive preview for the NFL or NHL, as TSN did, but they’re now doing write ups for NBA teams such as Sacramento and Golden State.

thanks for the link Nan. Hard to know what to make of this. I don’t read either or the magazine and I never see any articles linked or discussed here.

Lang should go to TSN1050 they could use him and would make for a great co-host for Leafs Lunch
