I think dropping the 20/20 updates is a great idea. The whole concept of needing the radio for updates is totally outdated to pre internet times. With twitter and smart phones, it’s really unnecessary now. With 680 available too, there was really no need.

I also tentatively like the change in breaks, having a couple super long segments with longer commercial breaks. Reminds me of how Stern used to do it. Short segments with constant interruptions are hard to listen to.

Agree 100%
You can book it at 15 or 45 past the hour, “oh we have to go to break”
It’s maddening when the segment has some meat on the bone, and then gets killed by there 5 minute commercial break leading into their 20/20’s.
Hopefully, we will see longer segments, now that the 20/20 is gone.
