Molson Gets Into World Junior Spirit

by TSM

I’m about to board a cruise ship for 8 days so I will be away for XMAS but in that vein I wanted to share with you something cool from the folks at Molson:

Here’s a first look at Molson Canadian’s new limited edition World Juniors Collector Cans. Launched to commemorate Hockey Canada’s 100 Year Anniversary and also highlight three important eras for Team Canada with a design inspired from that year’s jersey. The championship winning years of 1993 and 2005 were also the starting years of the Canada’s 5-year gold medal streak. In anticipation for the upcoming games, Molson Canadian has created a special 2015 can for what we hope will be another record-breaking year for Team Canada.

The Collector Cans are the perfect stocking stuffer for the hockey fans on in your life, and would be a great host gift to bring to a holiday party. These limited edition cans are only available for a short time in preparation for the IIHF World Junior Championship on December 26th!

To all who read this and celebrate, enjoy!!

P.S. I love the feedback on Raptors playoff post. The point wasn’t that the Raptors were or weren’t making the playoffs- the point is that there is NOTHING else to talk about in December especially when the Leafs are playing “well”.

A beer company selling their product to hockey fans while also exploiting the jingoistic sentiments of said fan base? Who knew?

TSM, thanks for the clarification on your Raptors post. Here is what you wrote and why it was so confusing.

Does anyone remember the season the toronto blue jays were having?

We’re now worried about who the Raptors may play in the playoffs?????

As we all know, the Blue Jays did not make the playoffs, so the two sentences here as I and others interpreted meant that a playoff spot was not sewn up in December.

On top of that, you did not mention the Leafs at all in your post.

Regardless of your intentions in your clarification here, you have to admit that you could have done a much better job of getting your points across.

How come you have so little Raptors coverage? They are not going away, and will only increase in popularity with the 2nd round of the playoffs a likelihood at worst, and with the All-Star game here next year. You used to have some dedicated writer(s) on it.

As you know, I comment on every Raptors post you have, and appreciate the content, but it should be done from the media perspective though, as there is ample mainstream and blog coverage of the Raptors as it is, and is not necessary here.

Guy writes a blog. People want to tell him what his blog should or shouldn’t contain. Too funny.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
