In this episode, Jonah is joined by Nelson Millman. Nelson has over 40 years of radio management experience including serving as the Program Director of the Fan 590. There are few around in the media business with more experience than Nelson. Nelson and Jonah discuss the role of the PD on radio, what a typical day in the life of a Program Director looks like; the current Fan 590 ratings; how the old and antiquated rating system could be fixed; how social media has changed the radio business and the role of the media in reporting things that occur outside the lines when they observe them. Oh, and Bob McCown comes up too.

Thanks Jonah was a great listen. Like you a big fan of Nelson Millman, I also remember back in the early days of telemedia and the Fan. Nelson was always a good listen whenever he was on the radio takening calls. Also totally agree with his assessment on Twitter. Hope you can have him on again soon.
Alright, I’ll say it
crickets
Turned on Leafs Lunch, and then shut it down immediately as soon I saw today’s co-host, Jonas (yawn) Seigel, along with #anybodybutAndi Petrillo
Finally hit the unsubscribe button on Writers Bloc. It was a good run, icluding the previous incarnation, but the host is just awful, the guests are a rotating cast of Rogers shills, and it just isn’t must listen anymore. No slight to the co-hosts, but they aren’t driving the ship.
