By Jonah

During this unprecedented sports hiatus, Jonah Sigel learns about the popularity, size and economics of the Fantasy Sports and E-Gambling World in discussions with expert Benny Ricciardi. Benny has over 20 years experience in the fantasy sports world and currently works with The Elite Fantasy Network.

Benny explains the algorithms that professional players use, the frequency of the bets and just how popular the business was pre-Corona. If you remember those old friends and family drafts, or play casually online with the Yahoo’s and ESPN’s of the world this will open your eyes to just how big this business is. If you are engaged in the games, I am sure you will find some nuggets from Benny too and he threw in a free week of his service for us all to check out too! A Fantasy handicapper of sorts if you will.

A good break from the current status of the world while we will miss sports.

Is anyone else thinking how gutless the two major sport networks are in this crisis?   On day 3 of no sports, they simply closed up shop, laid everybody off and put on US programming.   I think this is absolutely abhorrent.  They are telling us that if they don’t have 4 suits talking about Cthulhu leafs third line winger, they have nothing to say….. pathetic…. corporate…. and does not deserve our viewing when they return
